About the Role
The Mold Operator sets up equipment, prepares compounds, and processes a variety of assemblies, including standard and special connectors, following written and verbal instructions. The primary function is to maintain the operation of all molding presses within the molding department. The role includes setting up equipment to meet product standards, performing all quality and inspection operations as stated on work orders, and executing routing and packaging tasks such as bagging, boxing, and tracking production quantities. The operator follows intermediate drawings and procedures, reads blueprints, uses measuring tools, and performs required quality functions with limited supervision while maintaining a safe work environment and housekeeping duties. • Set up molding equipment and prepare compounds per instructions. • Process standard and special connector assemblies. • Maintain operation of all molding presses. • Perform quality inspections and routing as specified on work orders. • Execute packaging tasks, including bagging, boxing, and tracking quantities. • Follow drawings, procedures, and product specifications. • Work safely and perform housekeeping duties with minimal supervision. • Read blueprints, use measuring tools, and perform quality functions. • Lift 30 lb and handle components using hand tools.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. They must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future, and must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations. The position requires detailed knowledge of aerospace products, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional requirements include the ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, and work orders, 2–3 years of related mechanical manufacturing assembly experience, proficiency with calculators, the ability to lift 30 lb, good manual dexterity, and the capability to recognize and report assembly problems or equipment breakdowns. • Hold a High School diploma or GED. • Possess 1–3 years of manufacturing experience. • Be a U.S. person per ITAR and able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Demonstrate good manual dexterity and recognize assembly problems.
