About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for the make‑ready process in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend on‑site daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance, including swimming pool care, cleaning, and chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds and facilities to identify and correct hazards, ensuring compliance with safety and OSHA standards. • Execute preventative maintenance and make‑ready tasks, schedule turn events, and maintain accurate service records. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and manage inventory of equipment and supplies. • Support the Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communication, safety training, and policy enforcement. • Participate in on‑call emergencies and additional tasks as assigned. • Deliver excellent customer service, uphold community standards, and promote a positive image of the property.

What You Bring

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with basic computer skills to perform on‑site software functions. The role also requires basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. The position demands regular movement across the property, frequent climbing of ladders or stairs, and the ability to lift and move objects over 100 lbs. Work may occur in confined spaces, varying weather conditions, and require overtime, weekends, or night hours for on‑call emergencies. Employees must also be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods. Reliable transportation is required to meet the on‑call emergency response requirement. • Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA. • Physical ability to lift 100 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle overtime/on‑call emergencies. • Reliable transportation is required for emergency response.
