About the Role

The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager and managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines. • Supervise onsite staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management. • Manage financial performance, develop budgets, monitor rent collection, vendor invoicing, and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Lead leasing activities, create annual marketing plans, conduct showings, process lease documents, and implement resident retention programs. • Oversee administrative and maintenance functions, ensure timely reporting, respond to emergencies, and maintain property appearance through regular inspections. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and Asset Living policies, including safety and liability standards.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least two years of experience with affordable housing programs such as LIHTC, HUD Section 8, USDA Rural Development, or similar, with affordable‑housing certifications preferred but not required. • Minimum 2 years experience with affordable housing programs (e.g., LIHTC, HUD Section 8, USDA Rural Development, etc.). • Preferred certifications: Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP‑E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)/Accredited Resident Manager (ARM). • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred; proficiency with on‑site software and basic computer skills. • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and be on call; reliable transportation required.

Benefits
