About the Role

Key duties include maintenance, repair, and replacement of commercial heating and cooling systems, as well as partnering with journeymen on centrifugal, steam turbines, and open‑drive screw chillers. The position is limited to commercial HVACR service. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver high‑level service, diagnose facility inefficiencies, offer solutions and upselling opportunities, and prepare quotes to support recommendations. • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on commercial HVAC systems. • Partner with journeymen on centrifugal, steam turbines, and screw chillers. • Diagnose facility inefficiencies and provide solutions with upselling opportunities. • Prepare and deliver quotes to support recommendations. • Maintain strict safety standards using provided tools and equipment. • Travel 10‑20 % to support branch customers and installations. • Participate in the Service Plus Rewards program and benefit from union‑provided benefits.

Mechanics will work on light and heavy commercial teams, servicing advanced commercial and industrial equipment. Candidates must be willing to join a local union, have at least three years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience, and possess skills such as mechanical shaft alignment, vibration analysis, and the ability to write clear customer communications. A universal EPA refrigerant license, appropriate state licenses, and a valid driver’s license are required. Travel of 10 %‑20 % may be required to support branch customers, and candidates must pass a knowledge examination. The position offers a $41.33 hourly rate per the collective bargaining agreement, with benefits provided through the local labor union. • Complete Service Technical Academy training and earn factory certification. • Possess at least three years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience. • Hold a universal EPA refrigerant license and a valid driver’s license.
