About the Role
The Road Mechanic role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a diverse range of equipment such as aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, and HVAC systems. Technicians work in challenging, often remote locations and have opportunities to develop skills for future service or operation management careers. Safety and minimizing equipment downtime are top priorities. • Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diverse equipment fleets • Ensure repairs are completed safely to minimize equipment downtime

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED, with trade school training considered a plus, and possess 3‑5 years of experience servicing diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment. A valid driver's license is required, and a CDL may be needed in some locations. Mechanics may need to supply their own tools and should have solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, and potentially bilingual abilities. The position demands physical stamina, including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 + pounds while working both indoors and outdoors as required.
