Job Highlights
About the Role
• Relay One-Line Diagrams • Equipment specification review. • Shall promote complete and accurate record keeping and be responsible for the quality of all work performed. • Shall keep informed of current developments in the areas of responsibility. • Review/Checking Procedures (QA/QC) • May assist in the professional development, training, and evaluation of department personnel. • Be available to design teams to assist with design questions on an as needed basis. • Review Engineering calculations to assure safety and performance of equipment and systems. • Provide constructive feedback on Protection and Control design packages. • Attend review meetings to collaboratively discuss provide comments/feedback on design package reviews.

What You Bring
• Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills. • Experience being a project lead on Substation Protection and Control design projects. • SCADA/Communication fiber design • Proficient in applying Standards, both National and Local. (For example, ANSI/IEEE, National Electric Safety Code, ASTM, AIC, etc.) • Knowledgeable of Substation Protection and Control project schedules and timelines. • Experience with engineer software applications (Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, MicroStation). • DC Schematics • Minimum of eight (8) years of appropriate experience in the designated engineering field. • Self-Motivated and detail oriented. • Possession of a Professional Engineering License is preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Interdisciplinary interface for constructability and conformance to project requirements. • Ability to collaborate with design engineers and cross discipline. • AC Schematics (Three-Lines) • Ability to provide feedback in such a way that fosters learning and growth in others. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Application of appropriate Engineering subject matters and systems. • Shall possess a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program.
