About the Role

The Project Engineer will independently apply extensive engineering knowledge to prepare advanced designs, technical data, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules. Responsibilities include reviewing project documents for quality, developing innovative design techniques, conducting field investigations, and coordinating detailed engineering tasks using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The engineer will also guide engineers, technicians, and staff, manage client and team meetings, and handle contractor submittals, RFIs, and change order requests. • Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, and hydraulic calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Prepare scopes of work, budgets, schedules, proposals, and change orders. • Conduct field investigations and coordinate site visits. • Provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians, and administrative staff. • Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and payment requests. • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in environmental or civil engineering, with FE or PE licensure preferred. They need 4‑6+ years of civil/environmental engineering experience focused on water and wastewater design, including linear pipeline and pump station projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and OpenRoads, strong communication skills, and the ability to comprehend written and verbal English are essential. • Hold a BS in environmental or civil engineering; FE/PE preferred. • Possess 4‑6+ years of water/wastewater design experience, including pipeline and pump station projects. • Proficient in AutoCAD and OpenRoads; strong communication skills.
