About the Role

Why Join Us – At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company and we are looking for a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner at Sainsbury’s Halifax store on a fixed‑term contract until March 2026, working 18 hours per week at £12.21 per hour. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers in a busy, customer‑focused setting. Arcus provides full training and ongoing support, ensuring you are equipped to carry out cleaning duties to the highest standards while adhering to health and safety procedures. • Operate cleaning machinery. • Perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping throughout the store. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies. • Maintain external trolley bays, removing leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide a smartphone with NFC to access the Arcus Connect App.

What You Bring

Benefits

The position offers a variety of shift patterns across 5‑ and 6‑day weeks, with early‑morning shifts from 05:00 to 08:00 Monday through Saturday and Sundays off.
