About the Role
Reporting to the project controls team, the Senior Project Controls Engineer will provide performance reporting and analysis, acting either as part of a larger team or as the primary day‑to‑day contact with the client on a high‑profile aviation project. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cost and planning engineers to create work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods, producing control reports, and delivering performance analysis and recommendations to the client. • Develop work breakdown structures and performance baselines with cost and planning engineers. • Establish progress and cost monitoring methods and produce project control reports. • Analyse performance data and provide actionable recommendations to clients. • Apply earned value, cost control, change control, and baseline management on airport projects. • Utilise Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and reporting databases for planning and reporting.

What You Bring
The role is for a Senior Project Controls Engineer within the Infrastructure business, supporting a high‑value portfolio of projects at a major London airport. It is ideally suited to candidates with an aviation or airport background who have successfully delivered in a large international airport environment. Candidates should have experience in a project controls environment on major infrastructure or airport programmes, with solid knowledge of earned value, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, reporting, and proficiency in Primavera P6. The role requires a numerate, computer‑literate professional proficient in Microsoft Excel, Primavera, and reporting databases, as well as familiarity with financial or procurement systems such as Oracle or SAP and web‑based project control tools.
