About the Role

The Industrial Engineer will lead the analysis, planning, and design of Hadron Energy’s production and assembly workflows for micro modular reactors. This individual will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to develop efficient, scalable, and cost-effective processes for factory production, logistics, and field deployment. You will play a key role in shaping Hadron’s manufacturing readiness—defining production layouts, optimizing material flow, and implementing lean processes that enable reliable and repeatable reactor manufacturing at commercial scale. • Partner with Quality and Procurement teams to ensure vendor processes and materials meet production standards • Support capital equipment selection and justification for manufacturing expansion projects • Monitor and analyze production performance metrics; identify and resolve bottlenecks or process deviations • Contribute to the establishment of a digital manufacturing ecosystem integrating ERP, MES, and automation tools • Develop production line layouts, tooling requirements, and resource plans to enable scalable factory operations • Create process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for production teams • Collaborate with design and mechanical engineers to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) • Support facility planning and workflow design, including logistics, material handling, and supply-chain interfaces • Conduct time, motion, and cost studies to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations • Design and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes for Hadron’s modular reactor components and systems
