About the Role

The Fabrication Operator I is responsible for setting up and performing printing, cutting, stripping, punching, coping, and various forming operations. The role includes operating and maintaining presses, CNC lathes, manual drilling equipment, and using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure quality. The operator will also move materials using lift trucks or cranes, follow written and verbal instructions, and conduct visual inspections for safety and quality. • Set up and perform printing, cutting, stripping, punching, coping, and forming operations. • Operate and maintain presses, CNC lathes, manual drilling and lathe equipment. • Use calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and depth gauges to check dimensions and make adjustments. • Move materials with lift trucks or cranes as needed. • Follow written, verbal, and blueprint instructions to operate equipment such as video jet, kick press, piranha iron worker, and stripper. • Conduct continuous visual inspections for quality and safety. • Perform pick‑and‑pack operations for customer orders. • Work on Flexibar equipment, using tape measure and calipers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0‑2 years of manufacturing or production experience. The job requires the ability to lift at least 25 pounds, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform repetitive motions such as bending and reaching. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a self‑motivating attitude are essential in this fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment. • High school diploma or equivalent. • 0–2 years of manufacturing or production experience. • Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lb, bend, squat, reach overhead, climb stairs/ladders, and work in confined spaces. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment and meet deadlines. • Self‑motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills. • Team player able to identify and escalate non‑conforming issues. • Innovative & adaptable.
