About the Role
The Digital Product Specialist will partner with Group Digital leaders and senior Defence sponsors to create and execute a deployment roadmap for digital capabilities that delivers both near‑term and long‑term value aligned with the Group and Division strategies. This role involves working across product, delivery and end‑user communities to ensure Defence‑differentiated applications are deployed effectively. The specialist will provide the change management, training and support needed to drive adoption and sustained technology utilisation, assisting end‑user communities through acceptance testing, onboarding and continuous product development. By maintaining a clear view with other product owners across the technology landscape, they will maximise synergies and remove barriers. • Partner with Group Digital leaders and senior Defence sponsors to define and execute a digital capability deployment roadmap. • Collaborate with product managers, architects, project managers, analysts, SMEs, end users, ecosystem partners and digital suppliers to ensure effective deployment of Defence‑differentiated applications. • Guide delivery teams to achieve right‑first‑time deployment within time and cost constraints, removing delivery barriers. • Support end‑user communities with change management, acceptance testing, training, onboarding, support models and continuous product development to maximise adoption. • Coordinate with other product owners across the technology landscape to align related technologies, maximise synergies and eliminate obstacles. • Apply an innovation mindset to discover, develop and deliver market‑leading digital customer solutions. • Lead diverse, complex cross‑functional groups and make high‑value decisions on behalf of the business. • Drive business strategy, portfolio prioritisation, go‑to‑market strategy, performance metrics and financial analysis.
