About the Role
As a Field Project Manager in the Fire division, you will lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installations across commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities. Responsibilities include establishing project offices, defining scope, identifying risks, allocating resources, managing schedule, cost, safety, quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will present project updates to management and customers and ensure projects close on time and within scope. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from design and permitting to material delivery, labor scheduling, and field installation—while developing comprehensive project plans that meet schedules and budgets. Conducting Work‑in‑Progress meetings, complying with all codes, standards, AHJ requirements, and departmental SOX procedures, and coordinating change orders to improve margins are key components of the role.

What You Bring
The role demands a solid technical foundation, relevant certifications, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Candidates must be adept with project management tools, comfortable with frequent travel, and ready to meet company certification timelines. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; a certificate/diploma in fire & life safety, electrical/electronic, or security is preferred. • Possess certification in fire alarm systems (preferred) and at least five years of installation experience in fire, electrical, or security systems. • Achieve NICET Level II certification within one year of employment. • Obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within two years of employment. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including spreadsheet creation and macro development. • Be available for frequent local travel to project sites.
