About the Role

Leadership responsibilities include operating with integrity and sound business principles, providing vision, business planning and strategy, establishing goals, and building and maintaining positive client relationships. The role also requires open communication with partners and teams, managing projects profitably, transitioning work to qualified staff, mentoring staff, and acting as a positive leader. • Provide engineering services for water resources planning, permitting, water availability modeling, water rights, and environmental flow studies. • Apply expertise in surface water hydrology, river/lake/estuary modeling, statistical and data analysis for marine and aquatic systems. • Operate with integrity, set vision and strategy, establish goals, and maintain positive client relationships. • Communicate openly with partners and teams, manage projects profitably, and transition work to qualified staff. • Mentor and develop staff, acting as a positive leader and practice builder. • Autonomously lead, grow, and direct the water resources planning business. • Leverage client contacts with municipalities, counties, water authorities, and state agencies to win work. • Manage projects profitably and effectively allocate resources. • Participate in financial wellness programs including student loan matching and performance bonuses.

What You Bring

Candidates must have 10+ years of civil engineering, design, and management experience in water resources planning projects and hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. Required qualifications include client contacts with municipalities, counties, water management authorities, and state agencies, strong business development skills, excellent communication, leadership, and technical abilities, and a proven ability to manage projects profitably and mentor staff. • Hold a PE license and 10+ years of civil engineering experience in water resources planning. • Demonstrate strong business development, communication, leadership, and technical skills.
