About the Role

The Community Manager oversees all operations of an assigned housing community under the Regional Manager’s supervision. Responsibilities span personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk‑management functions, ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, fair‑housing guidelines, and liability requirements. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management. • Achieve net operating income targets through cost control, revenue growth, and leasing strategies. • Prepare annual operating budgets and forecasts; ensure timely rent collection and vendor invoice processing. • Develop and execute yearly marketing plans; lease units and maintain accurate leasing documentation. • Address resident complaints, implement retention programs, and ensure high resident satisfaction. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response, and compliance with safety and fair‑housing regulations. • Manage property appearance, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital projects. • Obtain vendor bids, monitor maintenance work quality, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
