About the Role
The role involves providing a broad overview of typical oil and gas process equipment, including basic design and operation. Candidates will apply analytical skills to evaluate production system processes, identify key performance parameters, and develop surveillance plans based on data and trend analysis. In addition, the position requires troubleshooting and performance monitoring to optimize facility operations, as well as collecting and analyzing data using process historian tools such as PI System, CREDO, PRO‑II, PDMS, and XHQ/Seeq. • Provide broad overview of oil and gas process equipment design and operation • Analyze production system data to identify performance parameters and operating conditions • Build surveillance plans for operating facilities based on trend analysis • Troubleshoot and optimize performance of oil and gas facilities • Collect and analyze data using process historian software (PI System, CREDO, PRO‑II, PDMS, XHQ/Seeq) • Perform process monitoring for refinery or petrochemical units • Interpret P&IDs, equipment data sheets, vendor manuals, PFDs, and cause‑and‑effect diagrams • Manage DCS system alarms

What You Bring
Successful applicants will have hands‑on experience supporting refinery or petrochemical units, with strong knowledge of P&IDs, equipment data sheets, vendor manuals, PFDs, and cause‑and‑effect diagrams. Proficiency in DCS alarm management, Microsoft Office, and exposure to various refinery technologies is also essential. A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university and at least one year of relevant industry experience are required. • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting • Apply knowledge of various refinery technologies and processes • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering • Minimum one year of experience in petroleum refinery or petrochemical industry
