About the Role

In this position, you will support the Project Manager and Operations team, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of projects while maintaining accurate documentation and resource tracking. The role involves delivering maintenance services across Western Power’s transmission and distribution network, supporting complex assets and serving customers in urban, regional, and remote communities. • Support the Project Manager and Operations team to keep operations smooth and on schedule. • Track, report, and manage planned work using Ventia and client systems to meet project requirements. • Identify time‑sensitive issues early and assist in developing solutions. • Coordinate with third‑party contractors and service providers to prevent delays. • Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing completed works for timely claims. • Execute successful monthly project close‑out, including verification and documentation. • Procure and monitor tools, equipment, and PPE to ensure availability and proper tracking.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and coordination skills, experience with project administration tools, and familiarity with Western Power systems, enabling accurate project close‑outs and effective procurement of resources. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. • Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating work to support project delivery. • Ability to create and manage tickets within internal systems and allocate work. • Experience tracking and reporting on contractor performance. • Strong communication skills for proactive customer liaison. • Experience booking and coordinating traffic management, locators, and civil contractors. • Familiarity with Western Power systems (Spidaweb, The Volt, EDM, Ellipse). • Proven ability to complete project close‑outs accurately and on time. • Experience ordering, procuring, and tracking PPE, tools, and equipment.
