About the Role

Interns are expected to follow company work hours, policies, and professional conduct, maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers, and engage in learning opportunities such as conferences. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the finance team. • Ensure client contractual billing and accounts receivable requirements are met. • Process vendor invoices and keep accounts payable current for assigned projects. • Handle subcontractor invoices, verify lien waivers, and confirm contracts and insurance compliance. • Assist with the monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Support internal and external audit requests as needed. • Enter project‑specific vendor invoice data and prepare multi‑project invoices for central posting. • Perform administrative invoice tasks, including vendor setup, sales/use tax reporting, and managing client tax‑exempt certificates. • Compile supporting documentation for Turner owner payment applications. • Provide periodic progress reports to the supervisor. • Apply academic knowledge to real‑world finance tasks while adhering to company policies.

The position requires physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, use construction hoists, lift heavy items, and work on active construction sites where noise, fumes, weather, and electrical hazards are present.
