About the Role

In this position, the engineer will manage technical, cost, and schedule elements of project delivery while adhering to AECOM's Quality Management System. Responsibilities include overseeing field efforts, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, and building strong client and team relationships to support business growth. • Collaborate with Remediation team Project Managers and other AECOM business lines. • Act as Engineer of Record, sealing and signing reports, drawing sets, specifications, and regulatory applications. • Serve as Senior Project Engineer overseeing technical delivery, design, schedule, client liaison, and coordination. • Prepare designs, reports, specifications, and cost estimates for civil and environmental remediation projects such as excavation, landfill, dewatering, stormwater management, and site restoration. • Utilize CAD applications, preferably Autodesk Civil 3D, for project work. • Identify opportunities to increase project efficiency and improve technical methodologies. • Mentor junior and mid‑level staff and support them in preparing for the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.

What You Bring

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering with at least four years of relevant experience and a valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, five or more years in engineering consulting, senior project engineering experience on large‑scale landfill or coal‑ash projects, and OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification; sponsorship and relocation are not available. • Minimum: BA/BS in Civil Engineering, 4+ years of experience, and a valid U.S. driver’s license. • Preferred: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, 5+ years consulting experience, senior project engineering on large‑scale landfill/coal‑ash projects, and OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
