About the Role
The Driver Operator role ensures safe, compliant driving and equipment operation while leading crews to complete customer projects. The position also works alongside Field Technicians on clean‑ups, spill response, COVID‑related tasks, and hazardous‑material decontamination. Drivers complete required route and productivity sheets, electronic vehicle logs (ELDs), and other reports, and conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. Any safety issues are documented on standard reports, and additional job‑related duties are performed as assigned. • Operate heavy equipment (GVW >26,000 lbs) such as roll‑off trucks, tractor‑trailers, liquid vacs, turbo vacs, sewer cleaners, and box trucks. • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures. • Work rotating shifts—including days, nights, weekends, and holidays—and be on‑call for emergency response. • Travel out of town as required based on service center assignments. • Complete route/productivity sheets, electronic vehicle logs (ELDs), and other required reports. • Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report any safety issues. • Lead crews and coordinate with Field Technicians on clean‑ups, spill response, COVID, and Hazmat decontamination.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications may include certifications such as a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) clearance. Minimum qualifications are a Class CDL B or higher with hazardous‑material and tanker endorsements. • Hold a Class CDL B or higher with hazardous‑material and tanker endorsements. • Possess required certifications such as TWIC clearance when applicable.
