About the Role

The Senior Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining a robust delivery schedule, monitoring progress against critical activities, analysing contractor data, and producing performance reports. Additional duties include applying installation rates, managing contract programme assessments and conducting delay and compensation event analyses. • Transparent tracking of career growth and development areas • Develop and maintain robust delivery schedules with clear milestones • Monitor schedules, identify critical activities, and update progress • Apply installation rates, review contractor schedules, and give recommendations • Evaluate quantities, job hours, schedule logic, and produce performance reports • Manage contract programme assessments, compensation events, and delay analyses • Perform infrastructure planning, quantity take‑offs, and statistical analysis • Participate in a salary‑sacrifice scheme • Attend regular social events

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with a degree or postgraduate qualification in construction or a business‑related field, and proven planning experience on projects over £5 million using Primavera P6 and Excel. Experience in infrastructure planning, quantity take‑offs, statistical analysis, and familiarity with NEC contracts and construction processes is essential, alongside strong communication, resilience and the ability to operate in ambiguous environments. The position requires full right to work in the UK and involves 2–3 days on‑site each week. The role also requires flexibility to travel to the site as needed. • Hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in construction or business • Understand engineering, procurement, contracts, construction processes and NEC contracts • Demonstrate strong communication, resilience, and ability to work in ambiguity • Possess full right to work in the UK • Commit to 2–3 days on‑site per week • Use Perkbox employee experience platform
