About the Role

Under the direction of the Material Services Specialist, the employee supports material flow throughout the plant, ensuring parts are available to internal and external customers and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role requires organization, a customer‑focused attitude, willingness to work overtime, and a drive for continuous process improvement. • Pull parts from internal or external warehouse. • Deliver parts to internal customers. • Build pallets of component parts. • Scan part numbers. • Move material throughout the plant. • Load and unload trucks. • Handle excess scrap. • Schedule truck lines for scrap, skids, and cardboard. • Operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV). • Use RFID scan gun to record inventory. • Complete PIV inspection forms. • Work overtime to meet customer schedules. • Perform housekeeping per 5S and visual workplace standards. • Conduct ERGO stretches. • Observe and report hazards or unsafe actions.

What You Bring

A high school diploma or equivalent is recommended; experience operating a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) is preferred. A valid driver’s license, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision are required, along with an acceptable disciplinary and attendance record. The individual must be able to read and interpret safety rules, specifications, work instructions, and system documents, perform basic arithmetic operations, and apply reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and understand basic reports and business requirements. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 40 lb; a Human Performance Evaluation may be required. The work environment entails moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to moving equipment, fumes, and airborne particles. • Lift up to 40 lb.

Benefits

The position works the 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM shift (Shift 2) with hourly pay ranging from $22.10 to $23.65 depending on hire date, plus a shift differential. The advertised hiring range is $21.31‑$24.01 USD and total compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills.
