Project Manager

About the Role

The Project Manager will own the financial KPIs of each project, including cost, revenue and cash‑flow, and will handle order booking using SAP/S4 Hana (SD, CRM & PS modules). Responsibilities include maintaining up‑to‑date project documentation, analysing contracts for scope, deliverables, risks and opportunities, and processing supplier invoices and purchase orders while tracking milestones. The role also requires close collaboration with the financial controlling team to allocate costs, ensure compliance, support audits, and act as the escalation point for any project issues. • Manage end‑to‑end delivery of switchgear projects, from single units to multi‑million‑pound contracts. • Own financial KPIs (cost, revenue, cash flow) and handle order booking in SAP/S4 Hana (SD, CRM, PS). • Maintain project documentation and perform contract analysis of scope, deliverables, risks and opportunities. • Process supplier invoices, create purchase orders, release OA and sales orders, and track milestones. • Collaborate with finance controlling to allocate costs, ensure compliance, and support internal/external audits. • Identify and mitigate project risks, act as escalation point, and keep project plans updated with data analysis. • Travel to UK customer sites and overseas manufacturing facilities as required.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold an engineering‑related degree (electrical preferred) and have hands‑on experience with high‑voltage switchgear and order handling. Proficiency in SAP/S4 Hana is essential, with Salesforce knowledge regarded as an advantage. The ideal applicant is financially literate, able to read statements and negotiate costs, and demonstrates a systematic, proactive approach with strong time‑management skills. Flexibility to travel to UK customer sites and overseas manufacturing facilities is required. • Hold an engineering‑related degree and experience with high‑voltage switchgear and order handling. • Proficient in SAP/S4 Hana (and preferably Salesforce), financially literate, and capable of negotiating costs. • Demonstrate systematic, proactive approach, strong time‑management, integrity and teamwork.
