About the Role

• Progress monthly project data to ensure accurate and consistent controls. • Report planned and earned value milestones, percent complete, and provide commentary. • Attend status meetings, update forecasts and schedules based on progress discussions. • Summarize performance metrics and advise teams on resolving controls issues. • Develop, monitor and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). • Advise stakeholders as a trusted guide on project controls matters. • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to maintain schedule integrity. • Track and review change orders with cost management teams. • Produce monthly management reports. • Administer contracts, including retention, terms, insurance, allowances and incentives. • Prepare baseline schedules and supporting documentation for team approval. • Perform resource loading and leveling on schedules. • Consolidate contractor schedules into the IMS. • Assess critical‑path impacts and report near‑critical activity effects. • Monitor schedule variances and propose corrective actions. • Review schedules regularly to ensure timely, accurate data entry. • Facilitate planning sessions and quantitative risk assessments as needed. • Maintain records of scope changes, trends and performance variances. • Liaise with clients and consultants throughout all project stages. • Implement best‑practice reporting internally and externally. • Observe SOX control responsibilities where applicable. • Work with cloud‑based project control software. • Use industry‑accepted cost, planning and progress measurement applications.

What You Bring

The firm is seeking a Project Controls Manager to support cost and schedule controls on large construction projects or programmes. The ideal candidate is an ambitious construction professional with proven experience in project controls. • Apply knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management and engineering. • Utilize advanced spreadsheet, reporting and presentation skills. • Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. • Preferable experience with Primavera P6 scheduling. • Act self‑motivated, proactive, and highly organized. • Exhibit strong multitasking, teamwork and integration abilities. • Communicate professionally in English, both orally and in writing. • Hold a full passport with no geographical restrictions. • Experience in cost‑focused construction project controls roles on large, complex projects. • Possess a college degree in construction, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field. • Work with cost‑loaded schedules and possess detailed knowledge of industry standards.
