About the Role

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers delivering services for Life Science sector projects. • Manage client communications and oversee project management team services. • Conduct market research on construction conditions and produce thought leadership reports. • Direct strategic and operational management of Project Management Services, including resource and financial planning, business generation, and training. • Set strategy and ambition aligned with the Business Plan; cultivate a culture of learning, respect, and inclusivity. • Ensure knowledge management by capturing and sharing project insights in internal databases. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance internal systems. • Maintain quality control compliance and participate in ISO audits. • Develop priority plans with risk mitigation, KPI measurement, and critical success factors. • Conduct internal BMS audits and coordinate external certification audits. • Act as brand ambassador, build pipeline of opportunities, and pursue cross‑selling. • Participate in senior leadership meetings and deliver presentations. • Track revenue, margins, fees, and resource requirements using internal software. • Prepare proposals and RFP responses for new clients/projects. • Attend networking and promotional events representing the firm. • Mentor staff, support career development, and partner with talent acquisition for staffing needs. • Model a one‑business culture balancing people, clients, stakeholders, and society. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring

The firm is hiring a Director of Project Management for its Atlanta office to lead a team of Project Managers delivering services on major Life Science sector projects. The role focuses on ensuring service excellence, expanding the project management offering, engaging clients and driving market outreach. The successful candidate will be a driven leader with strong interpersonal skills. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field (Master’s preferred). • 12+ years construction project management experience. • 2+ years leading large multi‑disciplinary teams in a consulting environment. • Proven success delivering project management services to high‑caliber clients. • Strong business development ambition and track record of driving growth. • Experience in commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, or natural resources. • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational and communication skills. • Preferred pharma experience; experience with utility projects and projects exceeding $1 bn; ability to set up projects with limited client processes.
