Sr Analyst Operations Technology - EV Fleet

About the Role

The Senior Analyst – EV Fleet Operations supports the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of Republic’s electric refuse truck fleet and its charging infrastructure. This role works closely with EV operating sites to understand daily operational challenges, track performance metrics, and ensure consistent execution of EV best practices across vehicles and chargers. Key responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting fleet and charging data, developing and maintaining EV telematics and operational dashboards, and translating site feedback into actionable insights for the EV operations team. The analyst also monitors charger issues and coordinates resolution efforts with site teams and third‑party operations and maintenance providers. • Support program and product development and deployment of cutting‑edge EV technology • Address deployment issues and create mitigation plans • Plan, deploy, and promote adoption of EV technologies and processes across the field organization • Monitor and report on program performance and deployment execution • Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and generate recommendations for process or program improvements • Review product enhancements and field training materials for relevance • Define requirements and assist vendors in developing EV solutions and roadmaps • Contribute to project planning, change management, communications, and training for key initiatives • Manage vendor relationships and network with industry to identify new technologies • Lead execution of technology pilots and develop business cases to drive operational benefits • Maintain logistical alignment across multiple vendors

What You Bring

Collaboration is essential; the analyst partners with the Manager – EV Fleet Operations, OEMs, infrastructure partners, maintenance teams, telematics groups, and data analytics specialists. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, operationally minded, and comfortable interfacing between field crews and technical stakeholders. Qualifications require strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as robust analytical and problem‑solving skills. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to teamwork, prior experience in the waste industry or a related field, at least five years of process improvement or financial analysis experience, and two years of systems analysis translating business needs into defined solutions. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and systems‑analysis skills • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Prior experience in the waste industry or related fields • Minimum 5 years in process improvement/financial analysis within waste or similar sector • Minimum 2 years translating business needs into system solutions
