About the Role
The HR People Advisor provides trusted guidance and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality HR services. Responsibilities include recruitment coordination, onboarding, talent attraction, employee relations, policy interpretation, record‑keeping, compliance, and participation in special projects aimed at improving HR processes. • Coordinate recruitment activities with hiring managers and track progress in HR systems. • Schedule interviews, conduct initial screenings, and support candidate onboarding. • Post job openings on multiple platforms and assist with plant career fairs and community outreach. • Respond to employee inquiries, support investigations, and aid disciplinary processes under senior supervision. • Serve as first‑point contact for policy, procedure, and program questions, escalating complex issues as needed. • Administer HR programs and policies, ensuring clear communication and compliance with company guidelines. • Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance and performance documentation, using HRIS tools. • Assist with basic compliance matters and support reporting and audits under guidance. • Keep supervisors informed of HR matters and provide practical resolution suggestions. • Promote safety and compliance by adhering to the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct and plant standards. • Contribute to special projects and improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and employee experience.

What You Bring
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and hold either a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Management or four years of generalist HR experience. Preferred qualifications include strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Workday HRIS, and experience in a global, matrixed or non‑union manufacturing environment. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; no visa sponsorship available. • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including AAP and EEO requirements. • Excellent interpersonal skills for building effective relationships. • High discretion handling confidential information. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong oral, written, and presentation communication. • Proven analytical and conflict‑resolution abilities for complex issues. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Exceptional organizational, planning, and follow‑up skills. • Experience in a global team or matrix organization and familiarity with HR Shared Services delivery models. • Hands‑on experience using Workday HRIS. • Background in a non‑unionized manufacturing environment with broad HR expertise (staffing, benefits, compensation).
