About the Role
The Field Engineer will support the project team in planning, layout, coordination, and execution of civil construction activities for a bus terminal project, ensuring work aligns with contract documents, schedules, and quality requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing work plans, producing and reviewing drawings, assisting the superintendent with daily operations, tracking quantities, maintaining documentation, monitoring quality and safety, and coordinating with engineers, inspectors, utility companies, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare and submit construction work plans and safe work plans. • Produce engineering and shop drawings and coordinate them with subcontractors. • Assist the superintendent with daily field operations and work planning. • Review construction drawings and RFIs to identify discrepancies and constructability issues. • Track installed quantities, perform quantity takeoffs, and generate production reports. • Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and as‑built documentation. • Monitor work for compliance with quality standards and participate in inspections. • Enforce jobsite safety policies and promote safe work practices. • Interface with project engineers, superintendents, inspectors, utility companies, and transit agencies. • Support turnover, closeout activities, punch lists, and as‑built drawings.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field and have at least three years of civil construction experience, including familiarity with earthwork, utilities, concrete, and paving. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, field‑layout software, and surveying equipment is preferred, as is experience on transportation infrastructure projects and exposure to public‑agency work. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. • Possess at least three years of civil construction experience, including earthwork, utilities, concrete, and paving. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or field‑layout software preferred. • Experience on transportation infrastructure projects such as bus terminals, transit facilities, rail, or airports. • Exposure to public‑agency work (DOT, transit authorities) and knowledge of inspection and testing requirements.

Benefits
The position offers a salary between $120,000 and $160,000, dependent on experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future, and staffing agency candidates will not be considered.
