About the Role

The Supply Chain Management Logistics Officer will manage logistics for defence customers, handling shipping, delivery and inventory of ICT assets in line with defence quality and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with warehousing staff, OEM suppliers and Defence supply‑support facilities, and using systems such as TAMIT and S4HANA. Key duties include codifying, cataloguing and disposing of Defence ICT assets, supporting six‑monthly reconciliations with the Configuration Management Database, maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting surface maintenance and scheduling Electrical Integrity Testing, and updating the CMDB with reporting and certificates. • Manage codification, cataloguing and disposal of Defence ICT assets. • Conduct six‑monthly reconciliations with the Configuration Management Database. • Maintain accurate asset inventory in TAMIT and/or S4HANA. • Perform surface maintenance (dusting, vacuuming, charging) on assets. • Schedule and execute Electrical Integrity Testing and tagging of physical assets. • Update CMDB and asset management systems, providing reports and disposal certificates. • Coordinate warehousing and transportation with OEM suppliers and Defence supply‑support facilities. • Support safe handling, packaging and transport of ICT equipment between military operation and exercise areas, including ships and platforms.

What You Bring

The position requires recognised SCM qualifications, experience with supply‑chain tools (S4HANA, TAMIT), strong organisational and communication skills, stakeholder engagement ability, and an NV1 security clearance (upgradeable to NV2). Desirable experience includes Defence ICT service strategy, warehousing operations, a forklift licence, and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
