Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies while conducting daily unit inspections, cash‑drawer audits, bank deposits, and payment‑collection calls. The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to walk around facilities, spending up to 50 % of the time outdoors, climbing stairs and opening large doors. Managers also handle cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interior areas, and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal. • Assess customer storage needs and sell packing/moving supplies • Daily inspection of storage units to verify inventory and readiness • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits each day • Conduct reminder and collection calls for overdue payments • Lift/move items up to 35 lb; walk outdoors up to 50 % of the time, climb stairs, open large doors • Perform cleaning and maintenance: sweep, mop interior areas, maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal
