About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability and upkeep of fabrication equipment across the Edmonton plants. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of automated systems to minimize downtime and boost operational efficiency. • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on fabrication and robotic equipment. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in automated machinery. • Apply reliability strategies to boost equipment performance and reduce failures. • Work with production teams to enhance equipment functionality and support manufacturing goals. • Record maintenance activities, equipment performance data, and reliability metrics accurately. • Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance during all maintenance work. • Lead continuous‑improvement projects to increase reliability and cut operational costs. • Provide maintenance support across all Edmonton‑area plants. • Work rotational day, night, and weekend shifts in the Nisku location.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field, and have proven experience maintaining CNC machinery, robotics and other industrial automation equipment. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork skills are required, with an openness to new technologies and predictive‑maintenance practices. • Hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline. • Bring proven experience maintaining CNC machines, robotics, and industrial automation equipment. • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems. • Exhibit problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities. • Show willingness to learn new technologies and predictive‑maintenance practices.
