What You Bring
We are seeking a Certified Plumber to join our high‑performing building‑maintenance team at the Auckland Region Women’s Corrections Facility. The role offers opportunities to expand your knowledge in the facilities sector and grow within the team, exposing you to diverse plumbing responsibilities. Prison environments can be challenging, so you must remain confident and professional at all times and understand the 24/7 nature of the site, including occasional after‑hours work. You will be an ambitious and resilient plumber with a current NZ Certifying Plumber licence, experience in plumbing, gas fitting, drainage, facilities and building maintenance, and the ability to work unsupervised while delivering safe, quality work. A full class‑one driver’s licence, manual‑driving ability, and physical fitness for regular bending and lifting are also required, alongside a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
