About the Role
The Sr. Construction Field Assistant oversees daily project operations, conducts home inspections for compliance, coordinates with the office, and maintains accurate written records. This role includes cross‑training in customer care and forward planning, positioning the individual for future construction management advancement. In this position you will assist the Construction Manager throughout all phases—from trenching to move‑in—support supervision of trade partners, conduct on‑site quality and safety inspections, and keep daily logs of job‑site activities. You will also evaluate trade‑partner performance, coordinate move‑in preparations with Customer Care, and mentor junior field assistants. • Assist Construction Manager throughout all construction phases, from trenching to move‑in. • Supervise and monitor trade partners across rough, finish, detail, and final orientation stages. • Conduct on‑site inspections to ensure quality standards and OSHA/SWPPP compliance. • Maintain daily job‑site logs, records of job changes, option orders, and purchase orders. • Evaluate trade‑partner and product performance; report findings to Customer Care and Construction Managers. • Coordinate with Customer Care Representatives to prepare homes for timely move‑in. • Mentor Jr. Construction Field Assistants and perform other assigned duties.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of homebuilding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to work over eight hours in a trailer, lift more than 50 lb, and operate motor vehicles and occasional construction equipment. • Minimum 3 years homebuilding experience; high school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Able to work >8 hours in a trailer, lift >50 lb, climb ladders, operate motor vehicles, and occasional construction equipment.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $23.56 to $37 hourly, with eligibility for bonuses and commissions.
