About the Role
The Principal Specialist supports the Product Support Manager in developing and implementing comprehensive product support strategies for a major Army weapon system. Responsibilities include guiding ideas to final products, documenting cost analyses, reviewing support arrangements, performing integrated product support analysis, and providing broad‑spectrum system training development expertise. The role also coordinates cross‑functional efforts, interfaces with government personnel, and assists in training needs analysis, planning, sustainment, and validation activities. • Streamline administrative processes to cut redundancy and boost efficiency. • Track action progress, generate metrics, and ensure deadline accountability. • Prepare regular status reports and alert senior management to pending issues. • Create and update presentation materials. • Review POI and training content, observe instructors, and refine TSPs. • Participate in internal committees, IPTs, working groups, and task forces. • Coordinate and manage program schedules for senior management review. • Support technical publication validation and logistics demonstration execution. • Assist in developing contract requirement packages. • Define strategies to meet user learning needs. • Lead cross‑functional efforts to support PM STARE tasks. • Deliver coordinated responses and accuracy assessments for senior management.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or equivalent experience and have 5‑10 years of functional experience in Product Support Analysis across acquisition or sustainment logistics. A secret security clearance is required. Preferred qualifications include functional experience in acquisition document development, military training development, logistics demonstrations, and FMS case development.
