About the Role

You will join the team delivering large‑scale construction programs for the Los Angeles Unified School District and other K‑12 and higher‑education institutions. The role involves collaborating with project, program and client leadership to provide premier educational facilities for students and adult learners. • Review contractor P6 baseline schedules, identify missing scope, logic, milestones, analyze critical path, and provide written comments per LAUSD templates. • Review monthly contractor P6 schedule updates, document milestone and critical path slippage, and perform overall schedule analysis. • Create activity schedule filters, layouts, and bar charts in Primavera P6 to support critical path analysis. • Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for scope conformance and validate logic ties. • Ensure proper use of program‑level codes, layouts, and reports to maintain data integrity. • Generate Earned Value curves using LAUSD EVA template guidelines. • Prepare and assist with scheduling reports as needed.

What You Bring

• Proficiency with the latest Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and contract specifications for school construction projects. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong relationship‑building abilities with project teams and department staff. • Superior organizational and planning capabilities. • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, construction engineering, or a related field. • Minimum three years of full‑time professional scheduling experience for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on educational or public works projects.

Benefits

The salary range for this full‑time role is $106,800 – $142,400 per year, reflecting base salary only and adjusted for geography, experience and client requirements. Cumming Group may pay above or below the posted range depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
