About the Role
• Conduct waste audits • Deliver educational presentations and outreach • Provide on‑site waste consultations • Train sorters, faculty, students, and restaurant staff on proper sorting • Develop, analyze, and update waste‑management standard operating procedures • Prepare compliance and waste‑audit reports, monitoring sorting programs • Coordinate purchase, use, maintenance, and inspection of safety PPE for sorters • Foster a sustainable work culture • Advise management on zero‑waste best practices • Oversee the sorting program • Enter data in work order systems • Create and track purchase orders in the accounting system • Collect basic personal and employment details, plus required sensitive data such as race/ethnicity • Review the Employee Privacy Notice and, if in California, the California Employee Privacy Notice before submitting personal information

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies/Science, Sustainability, or equivalent experience • Strong data‑analysis skills to translate data into actionable intelligence • Knowledge of San Francisco Zero‑Waste regulations • Excellent customer‑service, verbal, written, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Ability to train, influence, and motivate team members • Effective communication with people from diverse backgrounds • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Cantonese/Mandarin (preferred) • Graphic‑design ability (optional) • Basic proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel • Presentation skills • ABM does not sell or share your personal information

Compensation is listed as $70,000 annually, with the final offer reflecting education, experience, skills, location, and market data.
