About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and you will also install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role requires promoting safety, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on various MHE components, managing work orders and tracking labor, parts and equipment maintenance, maintaining department inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and fostering positive relationships across the operations facility. • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines on material handling equipment with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE, including belts, motors, sensors, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts used and equipment maintenance. • Manage department inventory and track supplies. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive relationships across the operations facility.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance, one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, experience with a CMMS, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred qualifications are an associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines, experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions. The position demands physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders or aerial lifts, and regularly lift up to 50 lb, while wearing required personal protective equipment such as hard hats, face shields and safety shoes. The role also involves moving between departments, floors and properties, working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures, and spending 1–2 hours per day on computer tasks. • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years repairing MHE or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and experience with a CMMS. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. • Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical/electrical field (preferred). • Experience with MHE safety standards, OEM guidelines and robotic operation/maintenance (preferred). • Ability to lift up to 50 lb, reach overhead, kneel, squat and use aerial lifts while wearing required PPE.
