Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. They assess customers’ storage needs, suggest options, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and conducting payment reminder and collection calls. Physical requirements include lifting or moving items up to 35 lb, walking around facilities and spending up to 50 % of the shift outdoors, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. The role also involves routine cleaning, sweeping, mopping interior areas, and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal. • Work flexible full‑time schedules (9:30 am‑6 pm, weekends until 5 pm). • Assess customer storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing/moving supplies. • Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure inventory availability. • Audit cash drawers and prepare bank deposits. • Make payment reminders and collection calls to keep customers current. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and walk/stand outdoors up to 50 % of the shift, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and maintain exterior grounds.
