About the Role
• Install and service electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms) • Perform pre‑wiring, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance • Execute acceptance testing plans meeting contract and client requirements • Assist in system design and layout • Train customers on system usage and address technical inquiries • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities • Update project managers and maintain project documentation • Lead, mentor, and support junior technicians on site • Ensure high safety standards and professionalism • Perform work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts • Work in confined spaces when required

What You Bring
As a Technician – Security with Bosch Building Technologies North America, you will review and analyze installation blueprints and project plans, follow the bill of materials, and adapt solutions as needed to ensure successful installations that meet client expectations. The role requires hands‑on expertise in installing, programming, and commissioning electronic security systems while collaborating closely with project managers and sales teams. The position involves regular physical activities such as standing, climbing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and working at heights over 1.8 m, as well as using power tools and performing tasks in confined spaces. Working conditions include exposure to outdoor weather, frequent travel to job sites, occasional construction equipment, and a moderate noise environment. • Hold PLT certification • Minimum 1 year experience in security systems integration • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Valid driver’s license with a clean record • Proficient with hand and specialty tools; lift 50 lb regularly • Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills • Post‑secondary electronics training or vendor low‑voltage certification (preferred)

Benefits
Compensation is a union rate of $40.88 per hour. Typical work hours are Monday‑Friday with overtime and on‑call responsibilities as needed, and travel to site locations may be required.
