About the Role

The position involves performing various production operations for machine manufacturing using air/power tools and hand tools. Employees provide department support, follow safety regulations, and maintain regular attendance. Tasks may include assembling screens and feeders according to blueprints. Key duties include measuring, positioning, assembling, and securing parts to precise tolerances, operating equipment such as grinders, impact tools, sanders, drill presses, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools, and handling forklifts and overhead cranes. The role also requires detecting and reporting defective material or equipment issues, driving continuous improvement through value‑stream and cost‑reduction initiatives, and complying with corporate policies. • Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures. • Position, measure, assemble, and secure parts per blueprints and tolerances. • Operate grinders, impact tools, sanders, drill presses, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools. • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes. • Detect and report defective material or equipment needing service. • Drive continuous improvement through value‑stream, cost reduction, and quality initiatives. • Comply with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.

What You Bring

Preferred candidates have at least one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints, technical instructions, and work orders. They should possess solid problem‑solving, judgment, and decision‑making abilities, good verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to work with minimal guidance. • One+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and powered tools. • Ability to read blueprints, technical instructions, and work orders. • Excellent problem‑solving, judgment, and decision‑making skills. • Good verbal and written communication abilities. • Ability to work with minimal guidance.
