About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance team by repairing material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution machinery. The role also offers opportunities to mentor junior technicians. Day‑to‑day duties involve following safety protocols, completing preventive maintenance with proper documentation, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in material handling components such as belts, motors, sensors, and relays. The position may require up to 12‑hour shifts, occasional travel of about 20%, and handling loads up to 49 lb.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and performing predictive and preventive maintenance. Preferred qualifications are an associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields, experience with automated conveyor controls, blueprint reading, CMMS usage, and familiarity with robotic or electromechanical systems.
