About the Role

Repair & Maintenance Engineering is responsible for planning, designing and executing maintenance programs that maximize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment. The team reviews mechanical and electrical specifications, coordinates with production to align repair work with schedules, and supports the installation and commissioning of new plant assets. • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and apply root‑cause analysis techniques such as fishbone or why‑why methods. • Replace worn or broken components and verify equipment functionality after repairs. • Develop and schedule preventive‑maintenance plans to extend equipment lifespan. • Execute major refurbishments of obsolete equipment and monitor performance to pre‑empt failures. • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. • Coordinate with production and other departments to achieve breakdown‑free operation. • Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff and external contractors. • Manage inventory, procure spare parts, and define technical specifications for purchases using SAP. • Lead improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs. • Ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements and company policies.

What You Bring

This is an Experienced Professional (P2) role where the incumbent works independently under general supervision, tackles difficult but not overly complex problems, and influences colleagues by clearly communicating facts, policies and best practices. • Possess experience in process industries, preferably as an electrical maintenance engineer. • Familiar with process equipment such as ovens, boilers, oil‑handling plants, compressors, and special‑purpose machines. • Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic assemblies, material‑handling gear (EOT cranes, BOP, stackers), and electrical control systems (PDB, DCS, SCADA). • Proficient in spoken and written English.
