Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and contacting customers for payment reminders and collections. The role requires lifting or moving items up to 35 lb and spending up to 50 % of the time walking around facilities, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Managers also perform routine cleaning and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping interior areas, and keeping exterior grounds clean and free of debris. • Assess customer storage needs and sell packing/moving supplies. • Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure inventory availability. • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits. • Perform payment reminders and collection calls. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb; walk around facilities spending up to 50% time outdoors, climb stairs, open large doors. • Perform cleaning and maintenance: sweep/mop interiors, maintain exterior grounds.
