Lead earthworks, stockpiling, and conveyor systems for a large Saudi mixed‑use project.
Job Highlights
About the Role
Leads project delivery to meet time, cost, and quality targets. Coordinates stakeholders to achieve objectives and KPIs, while managing teams and ensuring fee expectations, risk mitigation, and change control are met—driving excellence through proactive leadership and collaboration. You’ll be responsible for developing and controlling stockpile and mass‑haul strategies, including geometry, stability, material classification, and logistics. Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, covering schedules, budgets, risks, governance, and quality. Oversee earthworks execution such as excavation, haulage, placement, compaction, productivity, and fleet optimisation. Provide technical leadership for overland conveyor systems, including design interfaces, installation, commissioning, and integration with stockpile operations. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive collaboration and KPIs, oversee contractor performance, and ensure HSW, QA/QC, and reporting compliance. Lead the project's HSW culture, ensuring compliance, well‑being, inclusion, and an empowered Stop Work authority. • Develop and control stockpile and mass‑haul strategies (geometry, stability, classification, logistics). • Manage end‑to‑end project delivery (schedules, budgets, risks, governance, quality). • Oversee earthworks execution (excavation, haulage, placement, compaction, productivity, fleet optimisation). • Provide technical leadership for overland conveyor systems (design, installation, commissioning, integration). • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive KPIs, monitor contractor performance, ensure HSW, QA/QC, and reporting compliance. • Lead the project's HSW culture, promoting compliance, well‑being, inclusion, and Stop Work authority.

What You Bring

You'll need to have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mining engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a related discipline (master’s preferred). Experience in large‑scale earthworks, mining operations, bulk material handling, or mega infrastructure projects. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with engineering software such as Civil 3D, GIS tools, mass‑haul analysis tools, and conveyor performance software. A drive for delivery and an ability to bring stakeholders together around a common vision. An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across multiple departments. • Bachelor’s degree in civil, mining, geotechnical engineering or related field (master’s preferred). • Experience in large‑scale earthworks, mining operations, bulk material handling, or mega infrastructure projects. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency with Civil 3D, GIS, mass‑haul analysis, and conveyor performance software. • Strong delivery drive and ability to align stakeholders around a common vision.
