About the Role
Responsibilities include developing baseline and proposal‑phase schedules, producing final as‑built schedules, and delivering regular status reports to the general manager. The scheduler supports the superintendent in integrating design changes, managing resources, and conducting schedule review meetings at key milestones. Supervision of one or more scheduling assistants may also be required. • Assist in developing claims by analyzing CPM schedule performance • Incorporate design conflicts and clarifications into the CPM schedule for the superintendent • Manage the CPM schedule to support successful work execution, coordinating means, methods, manpower, equipment, and materials • Conduct CPM schedule review meetings at proposal, baseline, and update phases • Create baseline schedule using logic and sequence information from the superintendent • Develop proposal‑phase CPM schedules from estimating data and historical database • Produce final as‑built CPM schedule at project completion • Provide monthly CPM schedule status reports to the general manager • Update and maintain the historical CPM schedule database regularly • Revise project CPM schedules weekly based on superintendent reports • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis for communication • Comply with all safety standards and procedures • Occasionally climb stairs, ladders, etc. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects • Frequently interact with people during a shift • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift

What You Bring
The Project Scheduler at Sundt Construction serves as the in‑house expert for critical‑path method (CPM) scheduling throughout all project phases, from conceptual design through close‑out. The role involves creating, updating, and maintaining detailed schedules while coordinating directly with the project superintendent. Two levels are available: Project Scheduler I (3‑5 years experience) and Senior Project Scheduler (5+ years experience). Candidates must possess excellent communication, organization, and supervisory abilities, along with at least five years of CPM scheduling experience in comparable construction projects. A four‑year degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent technical training is required, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is expected. A thorough understanding of construction technology, equipment, methods, and cost control processes is essential. The position is safety‑sensitive and requires regular use of personal protective equipment, frequent reaching, occasional climbing, and consistent interaction with coworkers. Physical tasks include lifting, carrying, and handling objects, as well as sitting, standing, or walking for the duration of a shift. Compliance with all safety standards and procedures is mandatory. • Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills • Possess five or more years of CPM scheduling experience in similar construction • Hold a four‑year construction management or engineering degree, or equivalent technical training/experience • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs • Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, scheduling systems, negotiations, engineering, and cost control • Wear required personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, and vest • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist
