About the Role

The Site Project Engineer supports project management from startup through closeout under the direction of a Project Manager and works on‑site at the job location. Key duties include assisting with bid turnover and project startup, reviewing blueprints and specifications, coordinating material procurement, managing submittals, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs and close‑out documents, and maintaining project documentation in Bluebeam Studio and SharePoint while fostering positive relationships with vendors and clients. • Assist with bid turnover, startup processes, blueprint/spec review, and material procurement. • Manage submittals, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs, and close‑out documentation. • Maintain online project documents using Bluebeam Studio and SharePoint. • Coordinate with vendors, clients, foremen, and general contractors. • Support project team supervision, resource allocation, and quality control. • Track project files, drawing sets, material takeoffs, and cost change requests. • Utilize project management software to document, track, and resolve issues. • Prepare job billing, correspondence, and assist Project Managers as needed.

What You Bring

The position requires at least two years of electrical construction experience, strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and knowledge of NEC, NECA, TIA, and NFPA codes, along with proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam and estimation software; excellent communication, problem‑solving, leadership and teamwork skills are essential. • Minimum 2 + years electrical construction/project engineering experience. • Proficient in reading plans/specs and preparing take‑offs/estimates. • Knowledge of NEC, NECA, TIA, NFPA codes and scheduling principles. • Skilled in MS Office, Bluebeam, Accubid or similar estimation tools. • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem‑solving and leadership abilities. • Ability to work independently and in fast‑paced team environments.
