What You Bring

We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join the Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Wandsworth, a category B male prison. The team works Monday to Sunday in a supportive, family‑like environment to ensure a safe and nurturing setting for prisoners, staff and visitors. We require at least two years’ experience on commercial or industrial electrical systems, a good knowledge of planned preventive maintenance, and a qualification to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, including the 18th Edition and BS 7671 certification. Strong health‑and‑safety awareness, excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills are also essential. • Minimum 2 years’ experience on commercial or industrial electrical systems • Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent • Holds 18th Edition and BS 7671 certification • Good knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations • Strong health & safety awareness • Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills
