About the Role

The Analyst – Senior role supports the PMA‑201 Precision Strike Weapons Program office at NAVAIR Headquarters in Patuxent River, MD, handling Foreign Military Sales weapon cases. Responsibilities include maintenance, sustainment, training, storage support, and coordination of logistics documentation with original equipment manufacturers. The position requires agility in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Key duties involve assisting the government program manager with logistics acquisition strategies, gathering and analyzing data for reviews, and performing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analysis for aircraft, airborne weapons, and support equipment. The analyst provides technical assessments, prepares briefing materials, evaluates spares lists and projections, develops Repair‑of‑Repairables (ROR) plans, monitors retrograde item returns, reviews foreign technical data, and coordinates international logistics workshops. • Develop and recommend logistics acquisition strategies for FMS weapon cases. • Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources for program reviews. • Conduct Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analysis for aircraft, weapons, and support equipment. • Provide technical and material assessments, including spares range and depth recommendations. • Create and manage Repair‑of‑Repairables (ROR) plans for customer operations. • Monitor retrograde item returns, track repairable status, and propose corrective actions. • Review foreign technical data to suggest performance and readiness improvements. • Coordinate international logistics meetings and workshops for NAVAIR enterprise programs. • Ensure compliance with all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements. • Provide at least ten years of logistics program‑management support to government customers.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens with an active Secret (or interim) security clearance, hold a master’s degree (or a bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant experience), and possess at least ten years of logistics program‑management support to the government.
