About the Role
The role of Planning Engineer involves collaborating with planning teams to support project delivery, verifying tenders and schedules for compliance, and supporting project management to ensure timely and profitable delivery. The engineer will lead planning for medium‑complexity projects or sections of larger programmes, develop detailed plans considering logistics and site constraints, and interface with project teams for progress reporting and contract obligations. Key responsibilities also include monitoring productivity and progress, capturing data to inform performance, communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams, integrating sustainability and health & safety into programme design and procurement, and coordinating team activities to contribute to net‑zero carbon goals. • Collaborate with planning teams to align delivery with defined processes • Verify tenders and schedules for proper planning compliance • Lead planning for medium‑complexity projects or programme sections • Develop detailed plans that address logistics and site constraints • Monitor productivity, capture performance data, and inform decisions • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams • Integrate sustainability, health & safety into programme design and procurement • Coordinate activities to support net‑zero carbon goals • Mace promotes safety, client focus, integrity and continuous improvement opportunities

The position is classified as MoS Level 5, Class E3, requiring 12+ years of experience, with a salary band of SAR 25K‑35K. Note that obtaining a visa in Saudi Arabia is subject to a criminal record check, qualifications and may have age restrictions. • Hold a construction‑related degree and certifications such as PMP or PMI‑SP • Possess 12+ years of experience in planning and project controls • Demonstrate expertise in earned value management and scheduling methodologies • Visa issuance requires criminal record check, qualification verification and may have age limits
