About the Role

The EHSQ Coordinator will lead Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Assurance initiatives across the Pacific region. The position is responsible for ensuring legislative compliance, embedding continuous improvement, and championing the Integrated Business Management System. Key duties include developing and maintaining the JCI Integrated Business Management Systems in line with ISO standards, conducting onsite audits, managing non‑conformance reports, supporting statistical reporting, and monitoring performance against EHS and quality KPIs. The coordinator also oversees pre‑qualification processes, training compliance, incident investigations, risk assessments, meetings, and return‑to‑work coordination while driving a Zero Harm culture. • Implement and sustain the Integrated Business Management System (EHSQ) aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001. • Perform regular onsite quality audits, inspections and coordinate corrective actions. • Manage near‑miss, unsafe condition and non‑conformance reporting, as well as document control. • Produce monthly statistical reports and track EHS and quality performance indicators. • Oversee non‑conformance resolution (NCR) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Handle contractor pre‑qualification, portal administration and related compliance checks. • Assess training gaps and ensure completion of required EHSQ training programmes. • Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and implement corrective measures. • Conduct risk assessments and develop Safe Work Method Statements. • Facilitate branch meetings, toolbox talks and maintain clear communication with management and staff. • Provide expert advice on health, safety, environment and quality matters. • Coordinate return‑to‑work processes and manage related claims. • Influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve Zero Harm objectives.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold at least a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety and have experience as an EHS auditor, preferably in construction or a similar operational setting. Strong incident investigation abilities, advanced Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, a current driver’s licence, and the right to work in Australia are required. • Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety. • Possess strong incident investigation experience, advanced Microsoft Office/SharePoint skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
